We are seeking a passionate Specialized Radiologic Technologist to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care.


Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Specialized Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing patient conditions by utilizing radiologic equipment to generate radiographs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for radiological procedures through appropriate positioning and image techniques.
  • Maintaining the quality and production of radiographs by adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Documenting patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
  • Reviewing each exam for technical precision and identifying anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Assisting the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents.
  • Participating in emergency call rotations as required by department needs.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from a radiologic technology program accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or equivalent education.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R).
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Experience in the operating room, particularly with spine surgery cases.
  • Preferred proficiency with O-ARM and robotic surgical cases.

This role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless an exemption is approved.
