Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing all duties associated with Special Procedures, ensuring efficient resource utilization while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
  • Adhering to radiation safety protocols and universal precautions at all times.
  • Managing patient flow within the department efficiently.
  • Utilizing protective and immobilization devices to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Clearly communicating procedure details to patients and addressing any inquiries.
  • Demonstrating awareness of age-related factors in patient care.
  • Upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of an AMA accredited program.
  • Certification: Registered with ARRT and BLS certification through recognized organizations.
  • Experience: Proven ability to perform Special Procedures in accordance with established standards.
