Job Summary and Qualifications
We are in search of a skilled Radiology Technologist to contribute to our ambulatory surgery center. Under the guidance of your Physician, you will execute a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures while adhering to established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduled procedures according to physician preferences.
- Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Accurately document records and forms in compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Ensure all individuals in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
- Communicate patient status effectively to other staff involved in patient care.
- Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment by following cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of surgical tech experience preferred, ideally in an operating room or surgery center setting.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- State license as required.
