As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will cultivate long-term business relationships with our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert consulting to architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners regarding building control and mechanical systems.
  • Estimating costs for control system hardware and installation based on project specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborating with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution.
  • Delivering presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting, and building engineering sectors.
  • Managing project financial responsibilities effectively.
  • Engaging with a diverse customer base, including data centers, healthcare facilities, government buildings, educational institutions, and more.

KEY ATTRIBUTES WE SEEK

  • Familiarity with DDC control theory, applications, and mechanical systems

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • A degree in Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, though other fields are welcome
  • Experience in building and/or mechanical systems
  • Proven track record in business-to-business sales
  • Knowledge of DDC Control Theory & Applications and mechanical systems

IMPORTANT JOB DETAILS

  • Competitive annual salary range for entry-level candidates
  • Additional earnings through commission and car allowances
  • This is a full-time, exempt role with a standard Monday to Friday schedule
  • Local travel may be required up to 30% of the time, with occasional out-of-state travel
  • The position involves a mix of office work and site visits, requiring personal protective equipment for safety
