Position Overview
The Client Relationship Specialist II plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our Relationship Banking and Private Banking clientele. This position is responsible for cultivating new business relationships by engaging with existing and potential clients, actively participating in community events, and promoting the Bank's suite of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody and communicate the Bank's Vision, Purpose, and Promise, along with the principles of the 4 C's.
- Foster long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service both in-person and via phone.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's products and services to effectively cross-sell additional offerings.
- Engage proactively with clients, identifying opportunities to provide recommendations and referrals to other business units.
- Facilitate the opening of personal and business accounts, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Assist clients in obtaining necessary documentation for Consumer and Small Business loans.
- Guide clients on maximizing FDIC coverage and assist with complex deposit needs.
- Conduct personal banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Manage account maintenance tasks, such as address changes and research requests.
- Perform daily cash drawer balancing and ensure accurate documentation processing.
- Engage in community networking to develop referral opportunities.
- Participate in business development initiatives, including Bank promotions and cross-selling strategies.
- Prepare and present persuasive reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Achieve or surpass all deposit-related goals and targets.
- Maintain effective communication with management regarding deadlines and coverage.
- Deliver services accurately and punctually.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Represent the Bank and the Relationship Banking team professionally.
- Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, prioritizing work effectively.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and comply with all Bank policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Exhibit reliable and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of personal and Private Banking deposit products and processes, as well as relevant banking regulations.
- Previous experience in a similar role within retail banking services, ideally in a commercial banking environment.
- Experience with networking and outbound calling initiatives.
- Familiarity with banking software and processing systems.
- Proficient in office automation tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A Bachelor's degree with coursework in Accounting or Finance is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
