The Client Relationship Specialist plays a vital role in serving both individual clients and small enterprises within our community. The Client Relationship Specialist is dedicated to fostering connections and providing personalized attention that our customers value. This role requires a versatile team player who can operate independently to fulfill client needs while promoting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly acknowledging clients, maintaining a friendly demeanor, ensuring satisfaction with transactions, and consistently presenting a professional image in all communications.
  2. Build new client relationships through the account opening process while identifying potential opportunities for additional products based on a needs-based approach.
  3. Clarify various account options and services tailored to the client's unique requirements.
  4. Engage in discussions to uncover relevant financial needs that promote relationship growth.
  5. Adopt a proactive stance with follow-up communications to clients.
  6. Review and explain necessary account documentation to clients, facilitating the onboarding process.
  7. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's product offerings.
  8. Process customer transactions, which may include cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, handling transfers, and more.
  9. Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, contributing to branch initiatives and attending required training sessions.
  10. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  11. Excel in the Bank's relationship management and customer service excellence programs.
  12. Respond to inquiries from both internal and external clients regarding banking products and services, whether in person, over the phone, or via mail.
  13. Handle routine maintenance requests or fulfill client needs efficiently.
  14. Complete all assigned training requirements in a timely manner.
  15. Engage in regular coaching sessions to enhance personal and professional development.
  16. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or some college experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or banking.
  • Prior cash handling experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain in-depth knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to adapt to new banking systems and technologies.
  • Good analytical, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across the organization.
