Position: Superintendent of Service Retrofits
Reports To: Service Retrofit Manager(s)

Overview:
The Superintendent is tasked with overseeing and directing a skilled team of foremen and installation technicians to ensure the delivery of superior quality and exceptional customer service to our clientele. This role involves close collaboration with the Service Retrofit Managers to align with the company’s objectives and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop strategies to prevent potential issues from arising.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of projects with Service Retrofit Manager(s) post procurement of equipment and subcontractors.
  • Perform physical assessments of project sites to evaluate conditions and provide written reports to the Project Manager as necessary.
  • Execute timely and detailed material and duct takeoffs for assigned projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee on-site operations, including scheduling, material management, and equipment rentals, while providing daily supervision as needed.
  • Ensure compliance of all site personnel with project protocols, safety regulations, and company policies, documenting incidents and recommending corrective actions.
  • Guarantee that all completed jobs include startup documentation for assets, submitted to the startup and warranty departments.
  • Conduct job inspections to ensure adherence to Pueblo Mechanical standards, readiness for startup, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and owners as required.
  • Collaborate with the shop for production scheduling and timely deliveries.
  • Ensure weekly approval and submission of all time cards.
Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain work quality that meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance evaluations on projects to minimize callbacks and warranty issues.
  • Facilitate job-site walkthroughs with clients to confirm satisfaction.
Relationship Building:
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring proactive communication with the entire construction team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors to support future growth and opportunities.
  • Proactively schedule subcontractors to enhance project success.
Human Resources:
  • Monitor employee progress and recommend individuals for promotions or incentive bonuses.
  • Assist in interviewing potential candidates and provide recommendations.
Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all Pueblo Mechanical and project-specific safety protocols.
  • Verify that all staff are equipped with personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Coordinate with the safety officer for job site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
General Requirements:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and punctual with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance and communication.
  • Experience with government facilities is advantageous.
