Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that align with our organizational goals and engage our target audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Communications Strategies

Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that align with our organizational goals and engage our target audiences effectively.

Oversee Communications Campaigns

Oversee strategic communications campaign development and execution from concept through delivery.

Define Key Messages and Metrics

Define key messages, delivery channels, and performance metrics (KPIs) for all communications initiatives.

Evaluate Campaign Impact

Evaluate the impact of communication campaigns, leveraging insights to continuously improve strategies and boost effectiveness.

Develop Strategic Marketing Initiatives

Develop strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns, and communications to increase awareness, promote interest, and enable greater understanding.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital content.

Oversee Website Design and Optimization

Oversee website design, optimization, and maintenance in alignment with SEO best practices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

Develop Digital Marketing Strategies

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO and SEM, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.

Monitor and Analyze Website Performance

Monitor and analyze website performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Drive Initiatives and Prioritize Work

Drive initiatives within a cross-functional environment, effectively setting priorities, organizing work, and adapting to changing priorities.

Interface with Employees and Management

Utilize excellent consultative skills to interface effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Deliver Compelling Presentations

Deliver compelling presentations and communication to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Enhance Brand Reputation

Enhance and maintain our brand reputation through strategic communication and marketing efforts.

Contribute to Brand Development

Contribute to brand development and content through creative design feedback and alignment with our strategic vision.

Establish Communication Standards

Establish and enforce communication standards and best practices to ensure consistent brand messaging.

Monitor Media and Public Relations

Monitor media and public relations activities led by internal and external colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

  • Six years of related experience in communications, marketing, and website management, including strategic planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in website management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design, video editing, and web development applications.
  • Knowledgeable and capable of website management.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to create compelling content that generates impact with the ability to influence others.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
  • Background and experience in executive communication and project management.
  • Understanding or knowledge of design principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with creative teams and providing design feedback.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing projects while being an individual contributor.
  • Principles of employee training, supervision, and evaluation.
  • Supervisory techniques, resource allocation, planning, and budgeting.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, management, marketing, or another related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
