About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team at G-Net Construction Corp. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor administration, including insurance, W9s, payments, and 1099s.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and perform daily bank account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports, including project-specific reports.
  • Coordinate with our accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage workers' compensation entries and reconciliations, as well as prepare for audits and renewal quotes.
  • Process lien releases and prepare project invoices for job costing.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including balancing and entry into QuickBooks, as well as troubleshoot issues with our payroll service.
  • Assist in the preparation of end-of-year financials, including W2s and ACA reports.
  • Provide administrative support for human resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be motivated to expand technical skills and experience with QuickBooks Premier and MS Excel.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
