Speech Language Pathologist Job Summary:

Amergis is seeking a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting, providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulations, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve communication outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students.
  • Provide training and education to students, parents, and staff on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress monitoring and billing information.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • 2+ years of experience in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
