Job Description

Central Minority Maintenance LLC, a small maintenance and construction office based in North Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. This position offers the opportunity to work with various heavy equipment, including motor graders, rollers, trackhoes, bulldozers, front-end loaders, dump trucks, backhoes, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and store equipment according to company standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Adhere to workplace safety requirements and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records and submit daily reports.
  • Attend meetings and report to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience reading blueprints.
  • Familiarity with road construction and maintenance techniques.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances, and rules involved in equipment operation.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and meet physical demands of the job.
