Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at Staffing Logistics. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in equipment maintenance and repair, who can work independently and as part of a team.

As an Industrial Maintenance and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include executing equipment repairs in a timely manner, completing preventive maintenance service, and assisting in engineering projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Troubleshoots production issues to eliminate downtime and makes repairs in a timely manner to meet production needs- Maintain records of maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
  • Maintain an established comprehensive P.M. schedule on assigned equipment.
  • Assist in equipment rebuilding activities and engineering projects.
  • Perform timely equipment change-over as required by the production schedule.
  • Assist operators on equipment set-up to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is a job requirement- Associate's Degree is a plus
  • 2+ year of maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Provide one's own hand tools to perform job responsibilities.
  • Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Communicating verbally in person and on the telephone.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
