Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Detailer to join our team at Chevrolet of New Bern. As an Automotive Detailer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the exceptional appearance of our vehicles.

Estimated Salary:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning vehicles to the highest standards, using specialized equipment and techniques to restore their original shine. This includes:

  • Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors, paying close attention to every detail
  • Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations
  • Using cleaning agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
  • Transporting vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Fueling up vehicles as needed
  • Inspecting vehicles to ensure all steps of the cleaning process are complete
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Experience working as a detailer or enrollment in an automotive program
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • A willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality
  • Availability to work Saturdays, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to pass a drug test and possess a clean driving record and background check
