Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager to play a vital role in our lending operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Commercial Lender during client meetings, whether at the client's location or within the bank's premises.
  • Supporting the Commercial Lender by managing CRM systems and maintaining Pipeline Reports, as well as contributing to sales management analytics.
  • Participating in internal sales meetings to bolster business development initiatives.
  • Assisting the Commercial Lender in client interactions and prospect engagements.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient communication of all necessary information to the credit department for effective underwriting and decision-making.
  • Working alongside the credit department to accurately assess credit risks and establish suitable credit structures.
  • Coordinating with the centralized Loan Documentation team to gather all essential documentation for loans, including those related to participations.
  • Facilitating loan closings and overseeing the management of the loan portfolio.
  • Scheduling and attending the Lender Annual Review, which includes updates on collateral valuations.
  • Engaging in community initiatives that enhance the bank's visibility and support business growth.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in C&I and CRE loan underwriting or portfolio management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial credit products, processes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in business management tools, including financial statements, budgets, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial documents and business reports.
  • Familiarity with federal and state banking regulations, along with effective mathematical skills.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
