Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring that customers receive complete, accurate, and timely technical proposals and order acknowledgments. The Sales Coordinator will function as the liaison between the Sales Executives, internal departments, and customers, maintaining price worksheets, proposal formats, and standard machine specifications. The role also involves coordinating technical reviews, following up on open quotes, and managing projects at lower revenue levels and/or with low risks. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will act as the single point of contact between engineering, operations, and sales executives, or directly with the customer to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain price worksheets and proposal formats for use by Sales Executives.
  • Coordinate technical reviews with customers, engineering, and operations to review RFQs and determine scope and project risks.
  • Follow up with Sales Executives on open quotes to confirm they are active and valid.
  • Maintain standard machine specifications that align with engineering's job structure.
  • Enter orders and billing plans in the ERP system and maintain specifications for all sold jobs.
  • Maintain the structure and content of the electronic document management system.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer visits.
  • Organize internal and external customer machine demos.
  • Participate in sales kick-off and risk burn-down meetings.
  • Manage projects at lower revenue levels and/or with low risks, following lean processes.
  • Act as the single point of contact between engineering, operations, and sales executives, or directly with the customer to ensure project success.
  • Maintain integrity of data in the customer relationship management (CRM/CPQ) database.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer-related financial issues, billing discrepancies, past due invoices, and credit holds.
  • Back up other administrative functions.
Requirements:
  • An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
