Role Overview:

As an Operations Manager at RXO, you will play a pivotal role in steering our Transportation Management services. Your strategic vision will drive operational enhancements and identify growth opportunities, all while embodying our core values to foster an engaged workforce and loyal clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish operational requirements and spearhead the implementation of new strategies to meet or surpass company standards and customer expectations.
  • Launch a diverse array of customer initiatives through established protocols.
  • Formulate, execute, and oversee corrective action plans aimed at minimizing risks and addressing process discrepancies.
  • Create and present standardized reporting and analytical tools to support both Operations and Executive Management, utilizing software such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analyze extensive operational data, providing insights on accuracy and trends.
  • Develop templates and deliverables for operations, monitoring performance against initial assumptions and establishing predictive indicators.

Qualifications for Success:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

It would be advantageous if you possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Familiarity with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and statistical analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to supervise, mentor, and influence team members.
