Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient charts
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
  • Reconcile daily transactions and manage patient payments
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Greet patients and build rapport to create a positive experience
  • Collect and process patient payments
  • Make follow-up calls to identify and close gaps in patient care
  • Assist patients with completing required paperwork and documentation
  • Manage challenging patient interactions with empathy and professionalism

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of healthcare experience
  • 1+ years of experience with EMR applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to varying situations
  • Moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
  • Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests
  • Solves routine problems independently
  • Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
  • Prioritizes and organizes work to meet deadlines
  • Collaborates with others as part of a team
