Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Lean Management Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Lean Center of Excellence and providing strategic leadership and transformation services that align with and support Unum's business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Lean Coaches in developing, driving, and delivering complex cross-functional transformational projects across the enterprise.
  • Research, evaluate, influence, and implement new business design solutions to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish strong partnerships with key business area leaders to identify specific business opportunities and help build effective solutions.
  • Understand emerging technologies and their impact on business operations, providing strategic input on operating model changes.
  • Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for future operational models, evangelizing the vision with key business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Requirements
  • Multi-disciplinary leadership and operations experience, with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Master's degree or a bachelor's degree plus relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a transformation field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong business, operations, and financial acumen, with a strong understanding of Lean, Agile, and Design thinking techniques.
What We Offer

Unum Group offers a competitive salary range of $133,500.00-$261,000.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, insurance benefits, performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match.
