About the Role

The Operational Transformation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving improvement activities across the organization. As a facilitative lead and proactive coach, this individual will leverage their expertise to assess and enhance systems, fostering optimal organizational process outcomes. Building relationships with leaders at all levels, including clinicians, front-line care teams, and stakeholders, this role will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of processes and systems tied to the MaineHealth Strategic Plan Scorecard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive operational excellence and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Provide coaching and training to care team members on continuous improvement principles and methodologies.
  • Facilitate change management and project management principles to address opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt certification preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in strategic alignment, process improvement, change management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and negotiate collaborative efforts with other departments and stakeholders.
