This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a Highway Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing highways and rights-of-way, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain highway maintenance and traffic equipment
  • Perform winter operations duties, including snow and ice removal
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as clean-up and traffic control
  • Conduct regular inspections and routine equipment maintenance
  • Perform miscellaneous labor tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities for long periods
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and operate specialty traffic equipment
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
