Job Overview:

Xerox, a leading provider of workplace solutions, is seeking a skilled Managed Print Account Executive to support the San Diego, CA area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for retaining and growing current accounts, as well as gaining new market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities within our current client base and new business.
  • Effectively present our value proposition to internal groups, clients, and prospects.
  • Manage current clients with day-to-day needs and growth opportunities.
  • Sustain benchmark activity levels, including appointments, workflow assessments, proposals, and database updates.
  • Tele-prospect and field cold calling to acquire additional business from existing customers and prospective clients.
  • Travel in the local territory to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Conduct onsite walk-throughs at client offices to understand their business needs.
  • Develop and present proposals to clients, highlighting our solutions and value.
  • Continuously educate yourself to become a world-class MPS Specialist.
  • Share your knowledge with the sales teams you support on a daily basis.
  • Gather data and actively listen to clients to understand their business, identify problems, and provide solutions.
  • Complete associated paperwork and data analysis following each customer contact.
  • Report daily activity, including contact information, appointments set, follow-ups, etc. Maintain a monthly sales and activity quota.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take risks and try new approaches.
