Key Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced Industrial Engineering principles to assess business operations and minimize inefficiencies.
Collaborate with facilities engineers to assist in the planning of new production facilities.
Aid Manufacturing Engineers in establishing standards and evaluating shop performance against objectives.

Create simulations of production processes for upcoming programs and conduct analyses to identify resource limitations, workflow, layout designs, and scheduling to meet delivery deadlines.

Lead process improvement initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and sustainability while demonstrating measurable outcomes.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess experience and/or knowledge in project management within a Manufacturing, Quality, or Logistics context. US Citizenship is required, as this role necessitates a government security clearance.

Role Insights:

Industrial Engineers operate in a dynamic, agile environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in PLM, MRP, MES, Discrete Event Simulation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization Software to generate analyses and metrics that inform critical business decisions.

This role will deliver data-driven insights that empower the production team to optimize manufacturing schedules and costs.

Engagement with the production operations team on the shop floor allows the Industrial Engineer to gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, facilitating the delivery of data-driven solutions to internal stakeholders.

This position requires collaboration across all functional areas throughout the product lifecycle within a manufacturing setting. The candidate will have the opportunity to provide impactful solutions to various organizations and align program priorities.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Project management experience, either through coursework or practical application.
Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, or a related field.
US Citizenship is required; this position necessitates a government security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with industrial engineering methodologies and practices.
Proven ability to maintain a high-performing team and effectively manage conflict.
Experience with SAP, Apriso, VECAMS, Tableau, Simio, or other simulation tools.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize responsibilities.
Experience in production environments and/or new production programs.
Proficiency in manufacturing simulations.
Experience in developing, monitoring, and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance specific to standard cost and fixed-price models.
Ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations and brief senior leadership.
Preferred to hold a Secret security clearance.

These condensed schedules provide employees with extra time away from the office, in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with 3 days off per week.

Compensation:


The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington DC is $50,300 - $96,400.

Non-represented full-time employees:

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on the start date during the calendar year.
