About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Design Engineer to join our team at Re:Build Manufacturing. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design of aerospace structures and systems, including primary and secondary structures, flight controls, and landing gear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop aerospace structures and systems, including conceptual design, prototyping, analysis, modeling, drafting, manufacturing, testing, and flight.
  • Lead teams of younger engineers and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including CAD models, presentations, and supporting material such as bill of materials and assembly procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, preferably with experience in composite and metallic parts and assemblies.
  • Significant experience with multiple CAD packages, including Catia, Inventor, NX, SolidWorks, and Creo.
  • Familiarity with analysis packages such as FEMAP and NASTRAN, and experience with design lifecycle and configuration management systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
