Role Summary
The Lead Process Engineer will leverage their extensive knowledge in process engineering and development, specifically tailored for mining and mineral projects. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Discipline Leads and Project Managers, to ensure compliance with regulations and contractual obligations. The role involves tackling complex challenges that necessitate thorough analysis and innovative problem-solving approaches. You will be responsible for making informed decisions regarding methodologies and techniques, ensuring alignment with established policies.

Key Responsibilities
The following tasks are integral to the role but may not encompass all duties:

Lead Process Engineer IV
- Executing detailed designs and calculations for projects in oil and gas sectors.
- Overseeing project management tasks, including reporting and cost tracking.
- Establishing effective data collection methods for projects.

Lead Process Engineer III
- Assessing hazardous materials and their environmental impacts.
- Compiling reports and providing analytical insights to project managers.
- Developing strategies to address environmental challenges and manage risks.

Lead Process Engineer II
- Enhancing and maintaining equipment performance.
- Defining project scopes and ensuring budget compliance.
- Preparing documentation for client proposals.

Lead Process Engineer I
- Acting as a technical authority in advanced engineering concepts.
- Demonstrating expertise in process safety and hazard management.
- Creating and presenting project documentation for stakeholders.

Qualifications by Level
  • Lead Process Engineer IV - Bachelor's Degree; Professional Engineer (PE) license; ten years of experience.
  • Lead Process Engineer III - Bachelor's Degree; Professional Engineer (PE) license; twelve years of experience.
  • Lead Process Engineer II - Bachelor's Degree; Professional Engineer (PE) license; fourteen years of experience.
  • Lead Process Engineer I - Bachelor's Degree; Professional Engineer (PE) license; fifteen years of experience.
