Purification Development Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Purification Development Scientist to join our team at Web-atrio. As a key member of our process development group, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of protein purification processes from definition to commercialization.

Your primary focus will be on applying engineering and scientific principles to optimize purification processes, including process characterization, scale-up, technology transfer, and process validation. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of your work into our pipeline projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and optimizing purification processes for parenteral biopharmaceuticals
  • Collaborating with process development teams to design and implement process improvements
  • Conducting process characterization and validation studies
  • Transferring processes to manufacturing and ensuring successful scale-up

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline. A BS degree with at least 9 years of experience, an MS degree with 6 years of experience, or a PhD degree with 0-2 years of experience in purification within a pharmaceutical process development group is required.
