Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, the Client Relations Coordinator II will be responsible for managing a portfolio of domestic and international clients, ensuring seamless and accurate transaction execution.

Location: Corning, NY, US

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of an Associate Degree is required.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for those who meet this criterion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through the Optical Fibers PeopleSoft order management system.
  2. Develop comprehensive product and pricing knowledge to independently respond to requests for quotations (RFQs) and generate competitive quotes.
  3. Utilize order and shipment tracking reports to monitor adherence to customer requested ship dates and proactively address any discrepancies.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of shipments and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  5. Create and maintain detailed customer profiles and purchasing agreements within the COF and Corporate PeopleSoft systems, collaborating with Commercial Operations to keep them updated.
  6. Guarantee the availability of OptoCommerce Fiber Data Delivery (FDD) for all customer shipments as required.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe regarding orders, FDD, and general product information.
  8. Enhance technical product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and recommend suitable fiber products based on their needs.
  9. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with various departments including Planning, Shipping, Quality Assurance, IT, Finance, and external stakeholders.
  10. Process return material authorizations and generate necessary credits.
  11. Collaborate with customers and Commercial Operations to resolve any payment discrepancies.
  12. Engage in project work as needed and participate in business teams as required.
  13. Support sales initiatives as necessary.
