ABOUT LIFT

LIFT is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering families to overcome poverty. We recognize that systemic inequities contribute to the racial and gender wealth gaps, perpetuating cycles of poverty. Our mission is to break this cycle by partnering with parents of young children to foster well-being, financial resilience, and community connections. Through personalized coaching, we help families set and achieve goals that lead to economic mobility, such as pursuing education, improving credit scores, eliminating debt, and securing stable employment. Additionally, we provide direct financial support to help families reinvest in their aspirations.

LIFT is currently poised for significant growth, aiming to enhance our service model, collaborate with various sectors including healthcare and education, and advocate for policy changes that elevate the voices of those affected by poverty. We seek team members who thrive in an environment focused on continuous improvement and are committed to our mission of combating intergenerational poverty while upholding our values of diversity, equity, excellence, hope, and relationships.
