Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or a related field, with a proven record of academic excellence. A CPA or advanced degree is preferred.

Professional Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in public accounting or corporate finance, ideally within a healthcare or regulated environment. A strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles is essential, with healthcare experience being advantageous.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: CINQCARE is dedicated to addressing long-standing gaps in care delivery for marginalized populations. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure CINQCARE can fulfill its mission effectively. The candidate should thrive under pressure, adeptly managing multiple priorities across various responsibilities and projects.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are necessary, with the capacity to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including team members, investors, and partners.

Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of Financial Management systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Sage, QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reporting are crucial.

Relationship Management: Strong capability to cultivate and maintain relationships with business leaders and external stakeholders. A collaborative mindset is essential for success in a dynamic work environment.

Organizational Culture: The candidate should demonstrate sound judgment, ethical integrity, and a commitment to teamwork. A desire for growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting is important, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Role Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for:

  • Cash Flow Oversight: Developing and managing cash flow forecasts to ensure financial obligations are met, analyzing trends to predict future needs, and preparing regular cash flow reports.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Overseeing the accounts payable process to ensure timely payments, streamlining procedures, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with finance and operations teams to gather data for analysis, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
  • Claims Payment Reconciliation: Ensuring accurate posting of claims payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting regular assessments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing detailed reports on financial metrics, conducting variance analysis, and utilizing data analytics for strategic insights.
