Sales Support Engineer Role Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and technically proficient Sales Support Engineer to enhance our vibrant sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bolstering our sales initiatives by delivering technical knowledge, product insights, and exceptional customer service to our extensive client base and sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and deliver tailored technical solutions and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist in crafting technical proposals, quotations, and product specifications that align with customer requirements.
  • Conduct engaging technical presentations and demonstrations for clients, sales representatives, and distributors.
  • Act as a technical intermediary between clients, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments to ensure prompt and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Provide training and technical support to sales personnel and distributors regarding products and their applications.
  • Contribute to the formulation of sales strategies and initiatives aimed at achieving sales objectives and expanding market presence.
  • Maintain and refresh technical documentation, including product catalogs, datasheets, and application guides.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in applications engineering or sales support within an industrial setting, ideally involving pumps, instrumentation, valves, and flow control products. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, along with excellent interpersonal abilities (both in-person and via phone) and proficiency in office software.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in applications engineering or sales support in an industrial context, preferably in the areas mentioned above.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills (both in-person and over the phone).
