Compact Construction Equipment Sales Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team at Everglades Equipment Group. As a Sales Specialist - Compact Construction Equipment, you will be responsible for selling new and used compact construction equipment to customers in Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company professionally and build sales relationships with current and potential customers in the defined sales area
- Work together with other sales staff and departments when specialist knowledge is necessary
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
- Monitor competitive activity and products and timely communicate to management accordingly
- Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
- Know and follow the defined sales process of the company
- Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment
- Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events and trade shows
- Conduct equipment field demonstrations
- Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management
- Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attend applicable sales training events, seminars, and meetings
Requirements:
- Knowledge of equipment operational practices preferred
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to communicate professionally on the phone, in person, and through email
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Outgoing personality and self-motivated
