As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our warehouse or manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the receiving, shipping, and material handling processes, while also designing and optimizing product movement and storage systems.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures in compliance with legal regulations.

2. Maintain quality standards for finished products.

3. Facilitate the seamless delivery of products to the Sales organization.

4. Contribute to operational objectives by providing insights and recommendations for warehouse operations to inform strategic planning.

5. Develop action plans to enhance productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

6. Meet financial targets by forecasting needs, preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective measures.

7. Foster employee development through effective hiring, training, and communication with both hourly and salaried personnel.

8. Lead and motivate teams to address daily operational challenges and achieve both short- and long-term performance goals.

9. Drive change management initiatives while minimizing impact on personnel.

10. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues effectively.

11. Develop and implement warehouse operations systems by assessing product handling and storage requirements.

12. Create processes for receiving products, managing inventory, and overseeing shipping operations.


13. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance warehouse operations by analyzing workflow, staffing, and equipment layout.

14. Address and resolve any receiving and shipping complaints to prevent recurrence.

15. Maintain a regular presence on the plant floor and be prepared to lift items up to 40 lbs.

16. Occasionally operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment.

17. Be flexible with work hours, including off-shifts and weekends, and be open to minimal travel requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $102,800 - $172,100, based on a full-time schedule. Actual starting salary will be determined by location, job-related skills, and experience.

Performance-based bonuses are available, with a target payout of 12% of annual salary, distributed annually.

Paid time off is available, subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma certification, TPM, lean manufacturing) demonstrated through successful project completion.

3. A minimum of 5 years in operations/logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.

4. Strong understanding of inventory management systems.

5. Forklift certification is advantageous.

6. Ability to lead a collaborative decision-making process.

7. Demonstrated success in a results-driven, challenging environment.

8. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring and developing others.

9. Effective skills in coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building.

10. This position is limited to individuals with an indefinite right to work in the United States.

11. A valid driver's license is required, with a preference for a safe driving record.
