Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at Knappa School District 4. This is a unique opportunity to lead our district's business functions, including budget preparation, financial management, and human resources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, financial management, and human resources. They will be responsible for directing the accounting operation of the district, supervising contracts and agreements, and preparing budget documents.

The Business Operations Manager will also oversee personnel matters, including employee transfers, investigations, and discipline. They will maintain accurate and organized filing and records systems and manage Workers Compensation and unemployment reports and claims.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in business operations and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs the accounting operation of the district, including payroll, annual independent audit, GASB and GAAP requirements, and general ledger accounts.
  • Supervises all contracts, agreements, and transactions affecting the business functions of the district.
  • Prepares budget documents for the superintendent in a form that meets all legal, managerial, and public information requirements.
  • Oversees personnel matters, including employee transfers, investigations, and discipline.
  • Maintains accurate and organized filing and records systems.
  • Manages Workers Compensation and unemployment reports and claims.
