Job Overview

Management and Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. As a key member of our property control team, you will be responsible for assisting in warehouse operations, records retention, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

* Assist with warehousing operations, including ordering and receiving supplies, tools, and replacement items
* Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintenance of inventory
* Maintain the daily workflow to ensure prompt service to center operating organizations
* Ensure the warehouse is open in accordance with posted hours
* Input data for receipt and issue records to finance, report monthly inventory usage to supervisor

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent
* One year of warehouse or property experience preferred
* Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Valid driver's license in the state of work with an acceptable driving record required
