Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Shopper Marketing for our Meals and Beverage Division, you will be at the forefront of driving engagement for our esteemed brands, Rao's and Pacific. You will also engage with retailers across various channels including Mass, Grocery, Club, and Pure Play to develop innovative marketing initiatives that captivate shoppers, encourage brand consideration, and stimulate trial.

This role demands exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders, as you will work alongside brand marketing, integrated marketing, customer teams, shopper insights, sales strategy, and external agency partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of comprehensive shopper marketing initiatives that align with brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams (Brand and Integrated Marketing) to grasp their priorities, guiding their understanding of how shopper marketing can support their goals and integrate campaigns across all activation channels.
  • Work in partnership with Sales stakeholders (Sales Strategy, Retail Activation, E-Commerce, Customer Teams) and retailers to create plans that offer shoppers unique and holistic brand experiences.
  • Stay abreast of the evolving shopper marketing landscape, sharing insights with commercial teams to enhance shopper marketing strategies.
  • Manage financial aspects rigorously, ensuring effective investment in shopper marketing.
  • Oversee one external agency to execute impactful shopper marketing strategies that benefit the brand, the retailer, and the shopper.

Job Complexity:

  • Provide strategic shopper marketing insights to partners across Sales and Marketing functions, as well as leadership within the Division.
  • Coordinate communication, financials, and alignment among a diverse group of cross-functional partners.
  • Adapt plans in response to retail operations, sales strategies, and execution challenges.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities, bringing innovative concepts to fruition.
  • Ensure agencies meet strategic objectives effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Digital or Shopper Marketing, Marketing, Customer Marketing, or a creative agency with a proven track record.
  • Strong business and analytical skills with the ability to connect diverse information.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker, action-oriented, and passionate about shopper marketing.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, resourceful, and results-driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting ideas effectively to varied audiences.
  • Ability to contribute, influence, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional matrix organization.
  • Capacity to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $105,000 and $172,200. Individual base pay will depend on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total compensation may include other forms of remuneration. We also provide competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits starting on the first day of employment.
