We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Orion Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Engineer to become a part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assess safety-critical flight software.
  • Leverage Matlab/Simulink/Autocode expertise to enhance Orion GN&C Flight Software.
  • Utilize Python and C/C++ for the analysis and testing of Orion GN&C Flight Software.
  • Advance flight software processes and procedures.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of flight and simulation software.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

This position is open to candidates at various experience levels. Depending on qualifications and business needs, we may consider applicants at different levels.

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is typically required.
  • Extensive experience with MATLAB, including Simulink, Stateflow, and Autocode.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems.
  • Experience in flight software development, software process development, and software integration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Significant experience with C, C++, and Python.
  • Familiarity with TRICK/JEOD simulation architecture.
  • Experience in developing safety-critical embedded software.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented software development and source code control.
