About the Opportunity

SMMA is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Design Specialist to join our Cambridge office. As a key member of our design team, you will assist in the development of electrical construction documents for various commercial projects. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in building electrical systems and excellent communication skills.


Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed electrical plans and specifications for commercial projects.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce high-quality designs and documentation.
  • Develop and modify electrical details tailored to each project's unique requirements.
  • Participate in construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals and conducting site visits.
  • Engage in technical discussions with project leads and contribute to the development of well-coordinated construction documents.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in building electrical systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
