Electro-Acoustic Development Specialist

We are seeking a talented Electro-Acoustic Development Specialist to join our team at Draper Labs in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to develop cutting-edge technology at the intersection of electrical engineering and acoustics.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and develop advanced sensors and sensor systems from architecture through design and delivery.
- Contribute to the conception of novel sensors and develop precision instruments with minimal guidance.
- Collaborate with other engineers to design and develop prototype and production hardware to meet application needs.
- Draft and present formal technical documents, reports, and testing results to manager for approval.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Applied Physics, Electrical or Computer Engineering required; Master's or PhD degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Hardware Instrument Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, COMSOL or other multi-domain modeling tools.
- Knowledge of C, C++, Python for programming devices and instruments.
Draper Labs offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
