Insurance Agent Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Insurance Agent to join our team in our Overland Park office.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong local network and in-person relationship building in the community. As one of the largest personal lines insurance agencies in the US, Comparion Insurance Agents connect members of their local communities with insurance solutions to meet their unique needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be resilient, and have a natural ability to build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community.

This role has in-office requirements and is ideal for individuals who are highly self-motivated, driven, and have a strong desire to succeed in a sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community
  • Connect members of the local community with insurance solutions to meet their unique needs
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferably in the insurance industry
  • State insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support
  • Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
