Job Overview

The Manufacturing Operations Supervisor will oversee the production processes for our advanced product line, focusing on ensuring operational reliability and consistency. This role is crucial in managing day-to-day activities within the manufacturing environment, with a significant impact on departmental performance. While some autonomy is granted, the emphasis remains on executing established practices and procedures with guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Manage and supervise front-line manufacturing teams, typically overseeing hourly staff.
  • Acquire and apply comprehensive knowledge of technical processes to implement strategies effectively.
  • Understand critical business drivers and leverage this knowledge to enhance team performance and integration with other departments.
  • Utilize sound judgment to propose alternative solutions while adhering to established guidelines. Apply previous experience and training to address straightforward challenges.
  • Serve as an individual contributor or an emerging leader, providing informal mentorship to new team members.
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Supervision.
