Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Supervise and lead front-line manufacturing teams, typically managing hourly staff.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical fields, utilizing past experiences and expertise to inform strategic decisions.
- Understand critical business drivers and leverage this knowledge to enhance team performance and integration with other departments.
- Employ sound judgment to propose alternative solutions within defined parameters, utilizing prior experience and training to address straightforward challenges.
- Act as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills or as an emerging leader capable of nurturing talent and providing informal mentorship to new team members.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Supervision.
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within Production or Manufacturing.
- Demonstrates humility: respectful, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Transparent communicator: shares vital information candidly and contributes positively to team discussions.
- Focused and strategic: quickly adapts to new information and prioritizes tasks effectively.
- Exhibits leadership qualities: strong communicator, decisive, and collaborative.
- Analytical problem solver: challenges existing processes and employs critical thinking.
