Residential Services Supervisor

Bridgewell is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential home for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of staff to ensure that performance standards are upheld and that all individuals are receiving high-quality care and support.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff to create a positive work climate and a cohesive team environment.
- Ensure that services and documentation are maintained according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell's policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to support individuals in making decisions and developing their skills to foster independence.
- Oversee all medical, clinical, and financial needs of the individuals, identifying needs and securing appropriate services as required.
- Transport individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, community groups, families, and other service providers.
- Monitor petty cash and maintain spending within allowed budgetary limits.
- Provide interim coverage during the absence of a Program Director, with the support of the Residential Supervisor or other interim member of program management.
- Maintain core training certifications, including CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, and Driver Safety.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead staff, coordinate documentation flow, and interface with management or nursing staff is required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and foster positive relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver's license and one year of driving experience are required.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft products and web-based applications supported by the agency.
- Frequent climbing of stairs is required.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds is required.
- A normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses is required.
- A normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment is required.
