Job Title: Senior Construction Project Leader

Job Overview:
  • The Senior Project Leader is accountable for the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects, adhering to established timelines and budget constraints.
  • This role encompasses the acquisition of necessary resources and the coordination of efforts among team members and external contractors or consultants to ensure project delivery aligns with expectations.
  • The Senior Project Leader will also articulate the project's goals and supervise quality assurance throughout its duration.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:
  • Create detailed project plans and relevant communication materials.
  • Clearly convey project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly.
  • Continuously manage and align project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
Resource Allocation:
  • Assess the resources and personnel required to meet project objectives.
  • Evaluate the necessity for additional staff or consultants and initiate recruitment as needed during the project lifecycle.
Financial and Schedule Oversight:
  • Organize and schedule project timelines and milestones utilizing appropriate management tools.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Oversee project budgets and resource distribution.
Quality Control:
  • Ensure that project documentation is thorough, up-to-date, and properly archived.
  • Track and report on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Implement quality assurance measures throughout the project.
Risk Assessment:
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Proactively address changes in project scope, foresee potential issues, and develop contingency strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders.
  • Conduct project evaluations and compile a recommendations report to highlight successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a project management role, encompassing all facets of process development and execution, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software.
  • Solid understanding of contemporary Internet technologies.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred.
