Position Overview

DGR Systems LLC is seeking a skilled Azure Architect who will play a pivotal role in the design, execution, and oversight of Azure-based solutions tailored to meet diverse client needs.

This professional will be responsible for steering technical initiatives and converting business objectives into secure and efficient Azure architectures, encompassing computing, networking, storage, monitoring, and security aspects within client environments. They will deliver expert guidance on Azure Solutions, focusing on governance, data management, disaster recovery, virtualization, identity governance, and IT operations.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, capable of distilling intricate concepts into straightforward messages. A consultative approach, coupled with a commitment to continuous learning, is essential to provide optimal solutions for our clients. The candidate will contribute technical expertise, leadership, and business insight to DGR Systems LLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement Azure solutions aligned with business needs and industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to collect requirements, design architectures, and recommend solutions.
  • Set up and enhance Azure infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Utilize automation and orchestration tools to improve deployment and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee Azure environments, diagnose issues, and conduct proactive maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Document designs, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on Azure advancements, new features, and industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years in technology solutions, with at least 2 years in an Azure-centric role.
  • Robust technical foundation in Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), including Azure Stack technologies related to governance, virtual networking, virtual machines, and identity management.
  • Experience in architecting and deploying Azure/Azure Stack solutions in complex enterprise settings, including migrating on-premises resources to Azure.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework, including Azure landing zones.
  • Demonstrated success in managing Azure projects and technical operations.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) and experience ensuring compliance.
  • Certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-304, AZ-204, AZ-104 are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven history of delivering complex technical projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to integrate complex elements and client requirements into innovative technical designs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to understanding client needs and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Exemplary presentation skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
