The selected candidate will work at MUFG locations or client sites for four days each week and will have the flexibility to work remotely one day. Further details will be provided by our recruitment team.

Role Overview

In this position, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical abilities to design and enhance cloud infrastructures, standardize technology stacks for cloud and data centers, implement cloud service catalogs, and govern service solutions. You will also lead the execution of a cloud-first strategy and facilitate cloud adoption in collaboration with development and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


• Utilize AWS tools and services to manage and automate essential operational capabilities, including AWS Systems Manager, Patch Manager, CloudFormation, and custom scripts to enhance AWS functionalities.

• Maintain optimal levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Assess and test application performance to identify potential bottlenecks, propose solutions, and collaborate with developers to implement necessary fixes.

• Develop and maintain custom scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

• Provide advanced support for AWS infrastructure issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and test-driven development.

• Experience collaborating with vendors and IT personnel for issue resolution.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS and Azure implementations, including:

• Azure Active Directory, data governance, resource management, container services, and configuration management.

• AWS IAM & SSO, AWS VPC/Networking, AWS Security Suite, Audit & Compliance, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Experience in implementing cloud security solutions, including role-based access and identity management.

• Advanced skills in Automation and Orchestration frameworks, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python) and Dev/Sec/Ops tooling (Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS, Fargate, ECS, OpenShift).

• AWS certification is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions such as AWS CloudWatch, Nagios, and ELK stack.

• Proven track record in large-scale IT projects related to design, deployment, and configuration.

• Expertise in delivering infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS services.

• Strong understanding of designing information and operational support systems.

• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in implementing AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Minimum of 5-6 years of solid scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Shell/Bash scripts, and JavaScript.

• 5+ years of experience with AWS hosting technologies, including VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, SES, SNS, Containers, and API Gateway.

• Experience in the financial industry and a solid understanding of its structure and concepts.

• Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $125K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
