Job Overview
As a key member of our executive team overseeing finance and accounting, you will be instrumental in shaping strategic, operational, and financial decisions that will influence the company's future. You will not only manage but also enhance our finance operations, collaborating closely with colleagues across various departments. We pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial spirit and our commitment to improving our customers' experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the CEO to foster business growth and success.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales and CEO to monitor sales and revenue, developing and implementing effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Design compensation and commission frameworks that align with sales objectives.
  • Formulate pricing and discount strategies.
  • Oversee contract reviews and management.
  • Support HR initiatives.
  • Engage in cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing business performance.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure financial strategies are in sync with corporate goals.
  • Stay informed about market trends to evaluate company performance against competitors and identify growth opportunities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the leadership team and Board of Directors to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for team members.
  • Offer strategic insights on initiatives aimed at driving cost efficiencies and long-term planning.
  • Introduce innovative practices and metrics to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Possess a strong understanding of GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Establish a robust financial framework to support our ongoing growth.
  • Actively participate in the leadership team, collaborating across functions to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as VP or Head of Finance in SaaS startups with $10M-$50M ARR.
  • Strong grasp of SaaS metrics, KPIs, and business fundamentals.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to dissect complex issues and derive data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and initiative.
  • Experience in scaling finance and accounting teams in high-growth settings.
