Job Summary

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Machinery Analyst to join our team in Richmond, CA. As a key member of our Quality Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our rotating equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform audits and document results to identify quality issues and trends.
  • Collaborate with affected parties to close gaps and support rework reduction initiatives.
  • Track and communicate machine shop and hold point metrics to the Quality Management Team Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and improve procedures and checklists to eliminate rework with the Machinist procedure writer.
  • Support Quality Management team in developing Quality Assurance requirements for rotating equipment.
  • Identify and track machinery specialty or craft-specific jobs for Turnarounds.
  • Conduct receipt inspections of materials and fabricated items as required.
  • Resolve field issues where quality is or could become an issue.
  • Provide detailed reports and findings to stakeholders.
  • Support and perform inside and outside shop qualification assessments.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a machinist or rotating equipment analyst.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Driver's License.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership experience and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex datasets.
