Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine Outside Machinist to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of ship machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle, repair, or replace defective parts, and reassemble machinery using machinist's tools, chain hoists, and steel rollers.
  • Install ship machinery, such as propelling machinery and steering gear, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of machinery.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a machinist or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ship machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
