Job Title: Quality Assurance and Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Procurement Manager to join our team at Syntegon Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply chain develops processes consistent with engineering intent, supporting operational buyers, and collaborating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to develop supplier continuous improvement and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Operational Buyer Team: Lead the operational buyer team to achieve best-in-class results, ensuring the supply chain develops processes consistent with engineering intent.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing to develop supplier continuous improvement and capabilities.
  • Monitor and Improve Supplier Quality Targets: Monitor and improve supplier quality targets and KPIs, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Reporting of Quality Problem Suppliers: Report quality problem suppliers, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • 8D Reports: Prepare and submit 8D reports for quality checks resulting in any deviation from the specification.
  • Determination and Implementation of Quality Checks: Determine and implement quality checks to ensure compliance with quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Support Quality Inspection Technicians: Support quality inspection technicians in their daily activities, ensuring accurate and timely inspection results.
  • Approval for Production Processes: Approve production processes or similarity classes, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Evaluation of Product Use: Evaluate when product can be used as an exception despite a deviation from the specification, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to Quality and Environmental Awareness: Contribute to and be responsible for the Quality and Environmental awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: 5 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies, and strong problem-solving experience using systematic approaches such as Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and 8D.
