Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and resolve total loss claims for the Physical Damage Waiver Program concerning Holman Owned, Insured Owned, and Third Party Owned vehicles.
  • Work closely with the First Notice of Loss Department and Accident Management to promptly identify total losses during the claims process.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations to ascertain coverage and liability.
  • Collect and evaluate all essential documentation, including police reports, repair estimates, and statements from involved parties.
  • Assess damage to verify total loss status, considering Physical Damage Waiver Program Guidelines, industry standards, and market conditions.
  • Evaluate prior damage and its impact on the current claim.
  • Calculate the Actual Cash Value, factoring in depreciation, market value, and salvage value.
  • Engage with Physical Damage Waiver Clients, Third Party Lienholders, and repair/towing/storage vendors to negotiate and finalize settlements.
  • Prepare detailed Settlement Statements.
  • Issue settlement credits and/or payments to clients.
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and maintained for each transaction.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to all internal and external stakeholders throughout the claims process.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries and disputes regarding total loss determinations and settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, Fair Claims Adjusting Practices, and the Physical Damage Waiver Agreement.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files, documenting all actions and communications related to each claim.
  • Monitor and audit customer service timelines, total loss values, salvage and subrogation efforts, and program profitability.
  • Track the volume of total losses and identify red flags with individual accounts to ensure team meets organizational objectives, reporting findings and recommendations to management.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and new Physical Damage Waiver Adjusters.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • AIC, CIC, CPCU, ARM, or other Professional Property and Casualty designations are advantageous.
  • Property and Casualty License is a plus.
  • Proficient in various desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Relevant Work Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in claims adjusting is preferred.
  • Specialized knowledge in fleet management company vehicle repairs is preferred.
  • Experience with fleet management company IT systems is beneficial.

Compensation:

We offer competitive salaries that reflect job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $67,000 to $98,125.00 USD annually for full-time employees. The annual compensation range consists of base pay earnings.
