Position Summary The Director is responsible for the direction, development, and implementation of Marketing Communication strategies for the U.S. Market. Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing/sales tools and strategies to effectively communicate our company's vision, products, and services to our target audience. This role requires a creative mindset and a deep understanding of marketing principles.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees, assesses, and mentors the marketing team.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms: The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of various digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and graphic design platforms.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies: A successful regional director of marketing should stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to innovate and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills: Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners are essential for aligning all marketing efforts with overall corporate business objectives and ensuring cohesive execution.
  • Coordinates with external graphic designers and vendors to oversee the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials, supporting sales and marketing programs, project pursuits, product/program collateral, and trade shows/event planning.
  • Directs the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs including project pursuits, product/program collateral, tradeshows and event planning.
  • Designs, develops and implements annual marketing communication plans and budget.
  • Consistently evaluates marketing programs, ROI and adjusts programs or resources throughout budget year to align with corporate direction.
  • Develops all US market specific material including copywriting, graphic design coordination, and print coordination. Coordinates US work with Corporate Marketing to align with Teknion identity and image.
  • Spearheads the creative on all local advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Member of a collaborative team effort to plan and execute large-scale events, including worldwide sales/dealer meetings and Design Days, with a focus on the regional US market.
  • Interfaces and collaborates with Product Marketing, Canadian Marketing, and Corporate Marketing to develop marketing materials, share resources, and plan company-wide events.
  • Writes, designs and launches e-mail campaigns to target audiences.
  • Ensures integrity of Teknion brand and maintains consistent corporate image on promotional material and within all Teknion events/tradeshows.

Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline required. 10 years related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in a senior-level marketing role, with a track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in management of a Marketing team preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems and email marketing software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cohesively with all Teknion Corporation divisions.
  • Strongly skilled at management of both projects and people.
